In this workshop you will make Simone's head only but you will be supplied with sufficient mohair to finish her at home. The workshop will concentrate on making the perfect head. Noses and ears will be made easier and with Lisa's great eye and attention to detail, she will show you how to put character into your bear's face. In the workshop Lisa will explain a multitude of different techniques to make your bear making a more enjoyable experience. She will cover areas like tracing, fabric choice, stuffing, fur direction, airbrushing, ear placement and noses. Lisa will also include sewing machine techniques and if time permits dressing your bear. A special learning experienceWith Lisa's many years of experience in teaching bear making she will guide you through the finer points and also help iron out a few of those problem areas that you may be having. Lisa will also demonstrate the techniques she uses to make her bears. If you would like a few suggestions on how to improve your bear making please bring a sample or two of bear(s) that you have made recently and that you would like to improve.
